What to Expect After a Thigh Lift
Following your thigh lift procedure, bruising, swelling, and soreness is to be expected. You may have compression garments, which should be worn as directed to help reduce any swelling. Any discomfort can be controlled with pain medication. For the first two weeks, patients should only engage in light activities, and avoid bending over. Patients should avoid heavy lifting and jogging for 6-8 weeks, though driving and walking can typically be resumed after the first 2-3 weeks. Be sure to follow Dr. Cusimano’s post-op instructions for the best possible results.
